Went hog hunting a month back w/ Darryl and his Dad, Donut. Donut is his nickname by the way, really cool guy. Drove about 5 hours south, near Lerado, totally worth the long drive. Even though we didn't see a single hog the entire time we were there, I can't wait to go again.

taken when we finally got to the lease, arrived around 11pm
hung out around camp for a little bit and then went to bed

picture of darryl at sunrise
went around and checked some of the trails and feeders
saw some deer, but no hogs

ran into a friend while ridding the 4 wheelers

checking in w/ Donut while out ridding

we were driving thru some pretty high brush
and darryl drove over this

wasn't as bad as it looked

just some randoms while driving

checking one of the last feeding areas
got bored while we were out
decided to do some shooting for fun

shot w/ a slug out of my remmy 870

got to duel pistol a .22 and S&W .40
got to say thats pretty damn fun

after a nice long nap
we went out w/ Donut to transplant some feeders

hangin out inside, staying out of the heat
these are pics from our second night
looking for hogs to come thru, but never saw any

shot of the moon right before sunset

went out on a tandem rabbit hunt
saw only a few, not a whole lot of action that night

just a lot of fun ridding

these last shots are from out last day
got up around 5ish to make it to our nest before sunrise

random shots of the .243 i was holding

still never saw any hogs
fired the .243 once and nailed a cactus at 75 to 100 yards

last random shots from the trip
